Privacy Policy — ProLabel Wizard

Last updated: September 24, 2026

ProLabel Wizard ("the App") is a Shopify application that helps merchants generate and print barcode labels for their products. This privacy policy explains what data the App processes and how it is handled.

1. Data we process

• Shop information: your store's myshopify.com domain, access tokens issued by Shopify, and your subscription status (via the Shopify Billing API).
• Product data: product titles, variant titles, SKUs, prices, compare-at prices and barcode values — read from your store to compose labels, and written back only when you explicitly use the "Generate barcode" feature.
• Print activity: counts of labels generated (for the free demo limit and for basic usage analytics of your own store).

2. Data we do NOT process

• We do not collect or store customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, orders).
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How data is stored

Shop tokens and label templates are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database accessible only by the App. Access tokens are stored encrypted-at-rest by the hosting infrastructure and used solely to serve your requests to the Shopify Admin API.

4. Data retention and deletion

• When you uninstall the App, we receive the app/uninstalled webhook and immediately revoke and remove your access tokens.
• 48 hours after uninstall (per Shopify's GDPR requirements), all remaining shop data is deleted via the shop/redact webhook.
• We honor customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks; as we store no customer data, no customer records are returned or redacted.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are processed through the Shopify Billing API. We never see or store your payment card details.
